Iwatsu Voice Networks Releases WeLink™ Conference Server

Irving, TX, (October 1, 2009) — Iwatsu Voice Networks, a leading provider of voice communications systems, has announced the release of the Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server. Developed in partnership with Esnatech and featuring 1000 conference rooms and up to 24 attendees for each conference, the WeLink™ Conference Server works in conjunction with the Iwatsu Enterprise-CS communication system to enable multiple-party conference calls and secure voice meetings via Session Initiated Protocol (SIP).

When installed with an Iwatsu Enterprise-CS, the Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server can initiate on-demand conference calls, bringing together remote users via their desk phone, home phone, mobile phone or soft phone. Multiple meeting modes allow attendees to speak and be heard, or give the meeting Moderator the ability to control when participants can be heard by other attendees. This prevents participants from talking over each other and other background noises that can interfere with sound quality.

The Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server is further enhanced when connected with the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite–enabling additional features, such as conference reports. This feature creates a log of all conferences and their participants (who joined, when they joined and when they left).
